How long does it take to get bartending certified?

Most students complete their certification in 2 weeks or less, depending on whether they choose the online, hybrid, or in-person course.

Is the certification recognized outside of North Carolina?

Yes. The bartending certification is nationally recognized, not limited to North Carolina, so you can use it wherever you go.

What course formats are available?

Courses are available online, hybrid, and in-person, so you can pick the format that fits your schedule and how you learn best.

How do I get started?

Schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to talk through your options and find the right course to get you certified.

Do I need a certification to work as a bartender?

In most places, certification isn't legally required to bartend — but it can genuinely help. Certified students often get hired faster, walk in with more confidence, and stand out to employers who are choosing between applicants with no experience. It's less about a requirement and more about giving you a real head start.

What if I don't pass the certification?

You're covered. If you complete the coursework and don't pass on your first try, we'll work with you through additional practice and a retake — at no extra cost. Our goal is for you to walk away certified, not just enrolled.

Do you help with job placement after certification?

Yes. Once you're certified, we help however we can — resume tips, interview prep, and general guidance on finding bartending work in your area. We want you working, not just certified.

What if I need to miss a hands-on session?

No problem — there's no fixed class schedule to worry about. You schedule your hands-on practice sessions around your availability, so a missed day never puts you behind.
